What is it? An OSX 10.5.8 Universal bootable disk image that can be burned to a DVD with access to the Finder and the Dock. This of OSX was fully up-to-date with all of the latest Apple OSX 10.5.8 updates and so is Leo 911.

- Leo 911 is small enough to fit on a Single Layer DVD , this version is mainly for a Boot DVD option , if your looking for a smaller Leo 911 to boot from a 4 GB Flash drive please get the Leo 911 Pro. DVD’s will take from 5-20 minutes depending on the burn speed of the disc and Mac model. Took me 15 minutes to boot from a 2x DVD R. Got a new DVD burner and the Leo 911 DVD booted in 10 minutes using a 16x DVD.
- All of the software appears to be fully working and registered. A few tools were not included or I used older copies because the newest ones were not working or cracked yet. For example the newer v5 Path Finder’s wouldn’t launch properly.
- This only comes in ENGLISH due to the extra space other language resources would need.
- You might be pleasantly surprised at how many other programs you are capable of launching unlike older 911 DVD’s I created.

Compatible with some newer PowerPC G4-G5’s that can run Leo and most newer Intel Mac’s. Most Mac model’s between 2006-2009. If this boot disc fails, then you may wish to try the Classic version or better yet the Pro version instead.

Instructions

Before starting, make sure the Leo 911 disk image is NOT mounted, so eject it it now if you haven’t already!

A) Use Apple’s Disk Utility to burn it to a single layer DVD R or DVD RW (obviously -/+ compatible with your DVD drive)
OR
B) Use a tool like Carbon Copy Cloner to restore the Leo 911 disk image to a large enough partition on a hard disk or a Flash drive.
OR
C) Convert the Leo 911 disk image file to a .cdr image and add you own stuff to see if it works. But make sure you are logged in as the “root” user , otherwise it could lead to some nasty problems with permissions and access.
